Julius Bannister

President

Julius Bannister has been our President since 2019. He has had a long friendship with the family of our founder, Dr James Hall, including teaching Dr Hall’s son to play the violin. The Handelians twice have been recipients of donations from his Palm Court Orchestra which raises money for charitable causes.

Professor Donald Burrows

Donald Burrows is a world renowned Handelian scholar and is Emeritus Professor of Music at The Open University, where he is also Director of the Handel Documents research study. He has been our Patron since 2016.
